Iain Matheson and our professional associates work to a set of values and principles that  are important to us and guide what we do. We have:

  • a company purpose that is ultimately focused upon contributing towards improved outcomes for the children, patients, claimants, customers and communities that public sector and non-for-profit organisations exist to serve
  • an inherent respect for public servants and the public service ethos and an understanding of the environment within which they and NGOs operate
  • a high regard to the value of experience, qualifications, professional affiliations and our own ongoing professional development
  • a duty to providing high quality and trustworthy independent advice and services, along with a willingness to ask the hard questions
  • a belief that corporate management thinking and practice needs to be applied to the social sector selectively and with discernment - one size does not fit all
  • a willingness to work collaboratively and to share our knowledge and skills
  • a wish to deliver long term sustainable solutions that are grounded within your organisation rather than quick fixes
  • a commitment to professional ethics frameworks.
